Hyundai Launches Creta Summer Edition: Starts at ₹12.05 Lakh, Goes Up to ₹17.88 Lakh

Hyundai Motors has introduced the summer edition for the Creta, a mid-size SUV, with additional features. A total of six new variants are launched under the summer edition, whose ex-showroom price starts from ₹12,05,900 for the standard variant and goes up to ₹17,88,900 for the top trim with two engine options.

In India, it is the best-selling SUV in its segment. A total number of 14 lakh units have been sold out so far. In the financial year 2025-26, the South Korean automobile maker sold more than 2 lakh units of Creta. The ex-showroom price for each Summer Edition variant with a certain engine and gearbox option is as follows.

Each variant of the Hyundai Creta Summer Edition is introduced in the Indian market with updated features. They are discussed below:

Engine Performance 

The 1.5-litre petrol engine generates the power and torque of 115 PS and 144 Nm; with MT and CVT transmissions, it has fuel efficiency of 17.4 kmpl and 17.7 kmpl, respectively. The 1.5-litre diesel engine’s power output is 116 PS and torque is 250 Nm; the fuel efficiency with MT and AT gearboxes is 21.8 kmpl and 19.1 kmpl. The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol generates the power of 160 PS and 253 Nm; its transmission is DCT, and fuel efficiency is 18.4 km/l.

Dimensions & Space

There’s no change in dimensions and space of Hyundai Creta Summer Edition trims; it is the same as the existing variants. The length is 4,330 mm, width is 1,790 mm, and height is 1,635 mm. The wheelbase of 2,610 mm gives ample legroom for all occupants and a ground clearance of 190 mm, easily capable of tackling the rough roads. 

It features a seating capacity of 5 people with a layout of 2 and 3. All seats are made up of soft-touch tough material to ensure comfort even during long journeys. The boot space is 433 litres, which can easily carry 3 big pieces of luggage. The rear seats are foldable, which expands the cargo space up to 1200 litres.
