Honda India is all set to launch its first all-electric sport utility vehicle, Elevate EV, in the market in the next few months. It is a mid-size sports utility vehicle with a seating capacity of five people, which will be available in multiple variants.
This electric car will feature good ground clearance for Indian road driving convenience and large boot space to carry big luggage. It is going to be a long-range EV that will run hundreds of kilometers on a full charge, and it will be available with two battery packs.
It is also equipped with advanced safety features, which ensure minimal injury during the collision. This car has an aerodynamic design with premium lighting in front and back, and the interior gives a premium feel with high-tech features and a spacious cabin.
Launch & Price
The Elevate EV by Honda India is highly anticipated to be launched in the market on August 15, 2026. It will be available in multiple variants, whose ex-showroom price in New Delhi is expected to range from ₹18 lakh to ₹22 lakh.
The booking for this car is estimated to start in July 2026, and delivery is likely to begin in October 2026. The on-road price for each city will vary from one location to another due to taxes and additional charges.

The Elevate EV will be available in the Indian market with two packs: standard and long range. The first one will be available with a 40 kWh battery, and the second with 60 kWh; the expected specifications of each pack are available inside the table below.

Charging Options
The Elevate EV supports both DC and AC chargers; the charging time varies based on the charging option and battery pack. The details about the same are available below.
- With a 40 kWh battery, the car is likely to take 45-50 minutes to charge from 0 to 80% using the DC charger with full power. In the case of the AC charger, it will take 6 to 8 hours.
- If the car is equipped with a 60 kWh battery, the charging time for up to 80% charge with a DC charger will be around an hour, and in the case of an AC charger, it can take up to 10 hours.
It is likely to support the DC charge up to 100 kW and the AC charger up to 11 kW.
