Kia Motors has launched the compressed natural gas version of the Carens in a single variant, which is Premium (O) MT + CNG. It is available in New Delhi with an ex-showroom price from ₹11.77 lakh, costing only ₹77,900 more than its petrol variant.
It is available across the country through the Kia dealerships, whose on-road price goes up to $14 lakh. This car comes with a seating capacity of 6 or 7 people, making it an ideal option for families. It is a spacious car whose interior is full of high-tech features.

The CNG variant also has a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque. Official details regarding its mileage have not yet been made available in the public domain, but it is likely to be 25 to 27 km per liter or kilogram.
