Launch & Price
As per many media sources, the Fronx FFV will be introduced in the India market by Maruti Suzuki most probably in the last quarter of 2026, although there is no official confirmation regarding it.
The ethanol policy is seeing a significant increase in India. In such a situation, this is a strategic move by Maruti Suzuki. If this car is launched with affordable pricing, it could become the first mass-segment flex-fuel vehicle.
The details about its ex-showroom will be disclosed soon. It is expected that it will be available in the Indian market with ex-showroom prices starting from ₹10 lakh.
Engine & Power
The Fronx FFV comes with a 1.2-liter NA petrol engine, which is tuned to support flex fuel. It will generate high power and torque. A special seal, fuel system, and injection setup are used in this engine, which works effectively even on high ethanol blends.
This engine doesn’t promise only an environmentally friendly drive but also doesn’t affect the driving quality. The manufacturer has designed it in a way that even in the condition of the fuel change, it doesn’t change the driving experience.
The use of ethanol reduces the carbon emissions, and it is also beneficial for the farmers as the ethanol is processed from the sugarcane. Its faculty corrects that ethanol is available at a lower cost than petrol, so it will also reduce the running cost.
Interior & Exterior
In terms of look, the Fronx FFV is quite different from the standard model. It comes with subtle but major changes; the green-themed decal and ‘Suzuki Flex Fuel’ badge give it a separate identity.
The interior of the car features a dual-tone cabin with premium touches, it has a large touchscreen infotainment system, and the seat is made up of good-quality material. AC vents are likely to be available on front seats.
Safety Features
The Fronx FFV is going to have advanced safety features, which ensure the safety and comfort for occupants. The features are
- It has a total of six airbags, which will ensure the safety of every person sitting during the collision.
- It has an anti-lock braking system, which does not allow the tires to lock in case of braking.

Additionally, it has additional features such as a tire pressure monitoring system, speed-sensing door lock, seat belt reminder, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
Dimensions
The Fronx FFV measures 3995 mm in length, 1765 mm in width, and 1550 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 2520 mm, which provides better legroom and headroom to the front and rear seat passengers.
It has a ground clearance of 190 mm, which helps it handle even rough roads with ease. Its boot space is a total of 308 liters, allowing you to comfortably carry medium-sized luggage for four people.
