TVS Motors will launch the M1-S electric scooter very soon in the Indian market; its global debut is scheduled for November 4, 2025, at the EICMA show in Milan.

Looking at its design, features, and performance, it is clear that it is going to be launched in the premium segment, which will compete directly with other electric scooters like TVS iQube, Ola S1 Pro, and Ather 450X.

Launch & Price 

TVS Motor has not made any information public regarding when the M1-S electric scooter will be launched, but according to some media sources, it is likely to be launched in the Indian market in the second quarter of 2026.

It is not possible to say anything about the price of the scooter right now, but it is estimated that its ex-showroom price in New Delhi can be between Rs 1.5 lakh and Rs 1.8 lakh. 

Battery & Performance 

The TVS M1-S electric scooter is going to be launched with a 4.3 kilowatt lithium-ion battery, which will give a range of approximately 150 kilometers on a full charge. It will be available with a fast charging option, which will take around 3.5 hours for a full charge.

It comes with a hyper-power electric motor that produces 12.5 kW of power and 45 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h takes just 3.2 seconds, while its top speed is 105 km/h. It means that it delivers smooth and powerful performance not only in the city but also on the highway.

Design & Styling

It has a blend of design and style that is ideal for both city streets and light highway rides, and an aggressive and aerodynamic front end gives it a futuristic look. It has a flat footboard, which provides comfortable standing space.

This e-scooter features a single-piece seat design that provides comfort for both rider and pillion rider. Large wheels and a slim rear grab rail further reinforce its premium maxi-scooter styling. It also offers under-seat storage space, grippy tires, and a bike-like stance.

It comes with a 7-inch full-color TFT digital display, which allows it to be connected to a mobile phone. The rider gets navigation, call notifications, music control, and trip data on it. 

It will feature riding modes, regenerative braking, and reverse assist, making it a great option for tech enthusiasts, and it has 26 liters of under-seat storage space in which you can easily keep your helmet or other essential items. 

It also has a smart connectivity system that connects to the app to show battery status, ride history, and location. It has a smart key feature with which the scooter can be started even without a key.

Safety & Build

It features disc brakes at both the front and rear, ensuring better control and braking force. A combined braking system (CBS) has been added to this scooter to prevent the scooter from skidding during sudden braking.

To make the ride smooth even on covered roads, it has been provided with front telescopic forks and twin shock absorber suspension in the rear. The wheelbase of this scooter, i.e., the distance between the first and second wheels, is 1250 mm, and its weight is 152 kg.

It’s built on a sturdy metal-frame chassis, shod with sturdy 14-inch tires. It comes with LED headlights and DRLs. Additionally, it has a fully digital instrument cluster, a sturdy footboard, and a comfortable single-piece seat.
